Renewal Update 17: OSU 45, MSU 7

Yes, my renewal has been over for a couple of months.  However, one of my renewal gifts was a pair of tickets to the OSU vs. MSU game Saturday at Spartan Stadium.  I don’t need to get into the details of another great Ohio State victory, but here are some pictures of this wonderful day.

Renewal 16: Columbus

Last night we returned home from the final leg of our 2008 Renewal: Columbus, Ohio (home of the 2009 National Champion Ohio State Buckeyes!). It was wonderful to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa (my mom and dad) and all the fun things they have to do at their house. Here are just a couple of pictures:

Renewal Update 15: Home from Hawaii

We returned safely from a wonderful time in Hawaii! I haven’t posted any pictures for awhile, so here is a photo-journal of the last week. Needless to say it was awesome.

This evening our class broke into small groups for an assignment.  I was blessed to be in a group with Terry, an Assembly of God pastor, from Hawaii.  He drove us north of Honolulu into the Pauli mountains for some good pictures and then treated us to a wonderful meal.  Here are some of the sights:

Renewal Update 13: Still in Hawaii

My Hawaii adventure continues, but for the last couple of days I haven’t done much outside of the hotel conference room in which my class meets.  That is okay because it is the reason I’m here this week and I’m really enjoying it.  Here are a few overall thoughts and a couple of pictures.

Renewal Update 10: Time in Michigan

We just completed our third week of renewal!! It feels like we should be getting back to life at GLBC, but we still have another month away. We miss everyone dearly. We have enjoyed our last few days in Michigan, and today we adventured to Michigan’s Adventure. Here are some pictures.

Renewal Update 9: Home Again!

We arrived safely home again early Thursday morning (around 1:00 am). We are so thankful for the opportunity to spend a few days with my grandparents. Our kids loved seeing great-grandma and great-grandpa and even teared up on the plane ride home. Hopefully we’ll see them again soon.

Renewal Update 8: Sanibel Island, Florida

We arrived in Sanibel Island, Florida Saturday to spend a few days with my grandparents.  I have many fond memories of spending most of my Christmas breaks in Sanibel when I was in school.  Now my kids get to experience many of the same things, most importantly, being with great-grandparents!
