Question: How do you say I love you to your 14 year old son?

Answer: Ask him how his day went.

This is how the text exchange went . . .

My text:

Did you have a good day at school?

My son’s first reply:

yes

My son’s second reply a minute later:

i love you too

    We still tell the older kids we still love them no matter what and our folks to.

    This is so great! One day last week, I was sitting at my computer working diligently, I heard a text message on my phone…I looked and it was Zac saying “Hi, I love you!” Wow!, I waited, I was thinking ok, in a couple minutes he’s going to ask me to go somewhere or something. I was so WRONG! He never did – That made my heart melt!
