Future Computers Will Understand Your Intent

The rapid development of technology is truly mind-blowing.  In a recent speech Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer claims that within 10 years computers will be able to determine your intentions when you are online.  I have to admit that I don’t fully understand or appreciate the positive and negative implications for all of this, but I think Dan Lohrmann does.  This is yet another reason to read his book.  If you truly want to think about future technology and how to navigate it with your faith in tact, read Lohrmann’s Virtual Integrity: Faithfully Navigating the Brave New Web.
