The Canons of Dort, Part 1

My main hobby from 2005-2007 was studying systematic theology at Calvin Theological Seminary. One of the things that I enjoyed most was studying the historic creeds and confessions of the church (probably because they are often non-existent in my baptist/non-denominational circles). Of particular interest was studying the Canons of Dort, the source of the famous “five points of Calvinism.”

Over the next couple of weeks I’m going to spend some time explaining and commenting on the Canons of Dort. Hopefully I’ll be able to introduce my fellow baptists to the riches of the theology expressed therein.
