For the past several weeks I have been leading a class at Grand Ledge Baptist Church on parenting teenagers. Because not everyone was able to attend this class, I thought it would be good to post some of our major topics of conversation. We begin with the purpose of parenting.

The Sabbath in Judaism

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve picked up Jacob Neusner’s Judaism When Christianity Began, but I had the opportunity to read a few chapters last night. I was most interested in his discussion on the Sabbath, something that I don’t fully practice or comprehend (and, I assume, most other Christians don’t either…)
