Where Are They Now?
March 4, 2008 — Brian McLaughlinI was born in 1972, so the 80s were perhaps the most formative decade of my life. 80s culture, and particularly 80s music, still makes me smile. This is why I love to hear stories about where some of the most popular artists of the 80s are today. It is particularly nice to hear of one especially raunchy (though I didn’t realize it at the time) artist who has become a follower of Jesus Christ. Yes, the Lord has found “Salt” of “Salt-N-Pepa.”
Here is a wonderful article from Christianity Today that provides a summary of Salt’s relationship with God. But more than simply a personal testimony, the article describes how Salt is actively pursuing reconciliation with “Pepa” on a new VH1 reality show. Although I don’t have VH1 (I don’t have cable), I’m glad to hear that its viewers will be privy to the gospel of reconciliation.

“Pump up the jam” my friend. I hope she can push for reconciliation, “Push it real good”.
